Gemma and Matt’s Lower Slaughter Manor Cotswold wedding fell on one perfect early autumn day this September. The day was punctuated with thoughtful touches and a relaxed happiness that made their love shine extra bright. We loved photographing their entire celebration but the following moments will always stand out for us. Seeing Gemma and Matt open their surprise gifts from one another in the morning while our couple were preparing to say I do. The radiating joy as our Bride, escorted by her parents and bridesmaids, walked along the picturesque riverside of the village to the Church. Following their beautiful candlelit ceremony the military guard of honour that greeted our newlyweds. The pure romance that sparkled as Gemma and Matt enjoyed time together in the glorious Manor gardens while we were taking their wedding portraits… Gemma and Matt your love is so true and it was an honour to capture. We wish you the most beautiful future adventures together as husband and wife!

Our gorgeous Bride and her bridesmaids were ready with hair and make-up way ahead of time, which allowed the girls time to relax and be happy as they celebrated together with some bubbly. Thank you to the lovely Alexandra Sinclair Beauty and Francesco Group Hair Salon for doing such a fabulous job!
All eyes were on Gemma as she stepped into her stunning and sophisticated Stewart Parvin design from the lovely Rachel and Lesley at The White Room in Minchinhampton.
Gemma’s look was completed with elegant pearl earrings…a fabulous gift from Matt on the morning of the wedding.
Gemma’s bridesmaids were just amazing and so much fun to be around, exactly who you would want to spend the morning of your wedding day with! They looked pretty gorgeous in their classic royal blue twobirds bridesmaid dresses.
Gemma, you took our breath away on your wedding day and made Matt the happiest man in the world!
Our Groom made a dashing sight in his black and red army uniform. Matt’s brothers, familial and military ones, were with him every step of the way during the morning’s wedding preparations.
Lower Slaughter Manor is perfectly situated next door to the charming village church of St Mary’s.
After a short walk through the village our Bride arrived to a candlelit church filled with family and friends and her husband to be!
Our Groom’s expression at seeing his Bride is one of pure unbridled joy, one of our favourite moments to capture…
St Mary’s church in Lower Slaughter is quintessentially English and utterly charming. Rose covered candelabra lined the aisle lending to the atmosphere of the setting.
After the ceremony our happy couple were met by a proud guard of honour and handfuls of confetti to celebrate their happiness.
That moment when you look at each other after the ceremony and realise you’ve just married the love of your life…
September sunshine, soulful tunes and plenty of champagne on the manicured lawns of Lower Slaughter Manor started off the wedding celebrations in style.
As guests enjoyed themselves we stole away for a short while for photos with our couple in the village and Manor gardens.
We love that Gemma and Matt made the most of their time alone together during our portrait session!
Gemma and Matt’s happiness was simply infectious and made for some beautiful photos to remember the day by.

Gemma’s vision for her wedding day was both elegant and timeless. This classic look was brought to life by orbs of white hydrangeas, roses and foliage created by the talented Stephanie Saunders Floral Design.
A pretty four tiered number by Contemporary Cake Designs was cut at the piano with all our couple’s guests looking on and so commenced the evening celebrations.
Twinkling candles and rose petals welcomed evening guests to the Manor. With the stairway so perfectly styled by Stephanie Saunders Floral Design we could not resist one final portrait with Gemma and Matt before they hit the floor for their first dance!
